During this blog’s life, we’ve always talked about our summer holidays, and this year it couldn’t be an exception. So, following “Colette’s summer holidays in a dog beach” post) -you can read it by clicking here– and “holidays in a floating house” post, -you can remember it by clicking here–, this year we add “Colette’s holidays in a tree hut” post.
Once again this kind of posts has more pictures than written content because we only want you to enjoy the wonderful place, surrounded by vineyards and fruit trees, just like Colette and her new friend Sissy did, which we will tell you about in the next post.
Being Colette’s passport and leishmaniasis and deworming kit in order (you can check its content by clicking here), we returned to France to reach our small wooden nest located on a hill in a forest clearing.
This summer, besides enjoying the beautiful tree hut and its fantastic breakfasts that we “rescued” using a pulley each morning, we visited a medieval castle and an old village which was a refuge for the Templars. We also went on excursions on foot and paddling a canoe down the rivers gorges. Contact with nature, relax and total disconnection: achieved goals!
We encourage you to let us know what your summer plans with your dogs are!!
We are curious to know about them and we are looking forward to reading your comments below.
