As you will remember, a few months ago we inaugurated a new section in the blog in which we talked to you in a brief and “no spoiler” way about the dog books we read to give you our opinion. If you missed the first review, in which we wrote about “The language of dogs – The signs of calm” by Turid Rugaas, you can still read it by clicking here.
Today we continue with the book “Happy walk!” (¡Feliz Paseo! in Spanish) by Mónica Valdepeñas, better known in social networks as “Felicidad Canina”. In short, Monica, among many other things, and the reason why we are interested in her, is that she is a professional expert in safety and assistance dogs’ education and training, ethologist, educator and canine nutritionist. You can learn more about her, the courses she teaches, and even buy this book at https://felicidadcanina.es/
With this book you will learn that something that a priori has no more mystery than walking your dog, is of vital importance so that your dog can relate in a healthy way to the surrounding environment and make its life calmer and happy, strengthening at the same time your bond with it.
In “Happy walk!” you will find a guide of the different phases in which a walk is composed (up to 8 phases!) and the most common mistakes we make when walking with our dog and how to solve them, a training calendar and even a platform with online content, in which Monica explains it with videos the content of the book, adding new content. A courtesy of the author!

Very practical and live thanks to its extra online content on the website.
Only written in Spanish.
A lot of content that does not end with a single reading: a 1st general reading is recommended, and a 2nd reading to take notes.
It includes concepts “mindfulness” and “conscious walk” applied to the canine world.
We hope that you also want to read this book thanks to this post.
Do you recommend us a dog book?
We would love that you tell us below in the comments of this post. Thank you very much and see you on the next publication!
