Few weeks ago we proposed you to attend an art gallery as a plan for the rainy and cold days. You can still read the post by clicking in here. This time we come back with another different and free leisure plan that you can enjoy with your dog: cinema in an ecological market.
Some days ago, I went with Colette to the projection “Just eat it: A food waste story”, a documentary about the food waste in farms, supermarkets and even in our own fridges.
This projection is part of a whole cycle of projections, which as the organizers of “Another Way Film Festival” describe, are projections for restless minds, which usually follow a talk or debate.
The setting where this documentary was displayed was “El Huerto de Lucas” (The Lucas’ vegetable garden), an ecological market of more than 450 m2 in Chueca neighborhood, where you can not only buy 100% organic food, but also taste them in place in its ecological canteen and cafeteria. In “El Huerto de Lucas” the staff is very animal friendly that’s why Colette could be with me in the “Ecological Canteen” in the central space. Animals are just not allowed in the food sale spot.
We thank this small garden in this charming area of Madrid, not only for bringing nature closer to those who, like us, live in a big city, but also for letting us to enjoy different and interesting leisure plans with our dog.
Which different leisure plans do you usually do with your dogs?
We would be delighted if you discovered them for us all leaving a comments to this post.
