When in the middle of May we knew that Pets&Poms, the hairdresser where Colette goes since the first day, has opened its canine SPA, we were looking forward to take her there, but because of her heat and then her shedding period, we didn’t find the time to go…until last Saturday when Colette made a ‘complete treatment’: SPA, cutting and brushing, that Colette really needed. One of the first issues that arise when we have our puppy ready for a walk for the first time, after having vaccinated it, is whether using a harness or a collar.
This is a very personal matter that, as always, will depend on you, the owners, and above all, on how your dogs feel more comfortable.
After taking into account all the harness and collar pros and cons, we’ve come to the conclusion that we prefer to use a harness for Colette, especially for health and safety reasons. (more…)

An Australian journalist called Katrhyn Eisman said some time ago: “Forget looking into a woman’s eyes; if you want to know her secrets, look inside her handbag”[1]. We do really agree with that opinion, since a bag can be an important revealing element about the owner’s personality, or as we’ll see in this post, about the owners’ and dogs’ personality and life.
